Location

TENNISPARK is located in the north of the German city Badenweiler, which is situated at the border of France (12 km to the boarder), Germany and Switzerland (35 km to the boarder). Badenweiler is 40 km away from Basel airport and 110 km from Zürich airport. It is very convenient for tourists and city guests.

Badenweiler is a balneotherapeutic health resort in the south of Germany. It is famous for its thermal spa and mild healing climate. The city is marvelous at any time of the year! The warm Mediterranean air determines the climate in Badenweiler and affects spring, autumn and winter. Here they are much more milder. Sport activities in this place are especially healthy and useful.

Tourists have a lot of opportunities to enjoy the historical and cultural heritage of the territories close to Badenweiler. One of the brightest sights are are Roman Bath Ruins.

In the suburb of the city there are a recreational park with a castle and Europark Rust – the biggest park in Germany, which is similar to Disneyland. Among the cultural sights of the city there are the Chekhov's salon, Markgraefler museum with archaeological finds of Roman and Alemanic times, Zeppelin aircraft construction museum, Shauinsland mine museum, Art museum in Basel. You can also enjoy the Wine labels museum in Zunzingen and Gutedel garden, where light wines with a delicate almond aroma are created.

Tourists will definitely remember the Markgraefler Music Festival which takes place annually in autumn, the Markgraefler Night of Champagne in the Mülheim Town hall and the Christmas market in the middle of December.

Waterfalls of All Saints, Waterfalls of Triberg, Waterfalls “Rheinfall” – the biggest in the Central Europe; the forest for first-time mountaineers, the Mountain of Feldberg (first class ski resort) and the Monkey Mountain in Salem are places that you shouldn’t miss.

Tourists will enjoy the picturesque parks:

• Steinwasen Recreational Park, which has the longest pendant bridge in the world;
• Mundenhof Nature Park, the biggest park of wild animals in Baden-Württemberg;
• Schwarzwald Recreational Park with various shows.

The most curious tourists should visit the Watchtower of Blauen on the top of the Hochblauen mountain, the Mines of Finstergrund in order to go for a ride in cars, the biggest Cuckoo Clocks, the Mannheim Planetarium, the Zoo in Heidelberg with the enormous number of rare animals, Dorothy hut in Volvah where you can catch a glass manufacturer and glassblower at work.
